Episode 18 – Jon Hood

The Storm the Court Podcast is coming up hard on that big 2-0 episode mark, and in my humble opinion, the interview with Jon Hood (@jonnylightning4) is one of the best episode’s we’ve had so far. That’s no disrespect to any of the other guest’s or former players that have joined in the past, Jon’s stories of his time at Kentucky are just that entertaining. From life as a top 100 prospect on the recruiting trail, to DeMarcus Cousin’s trying to fight everybody, to what day to day life is like for a player in the NCAA Tournament, Jon paints a pretty good picture of what it’s like to be a part of some of the best teams in recent memory. Even if you don’t fancy yourself a #BBN blowhard, as a betting man I’d be willing to bet several paychecks that you’ll be able to look past any personal biases and thoroughly enjoy this week’s episode.

Also Jon has been working on his own podcast called Beyond Borders, which you’ll be able to find here. Beyond Borders focuses on athlete’s lives outside the arena of competition, so if you like some of the stuff you’ve heard on here so far, make sure you check out some similar flavor on Jon’s podcast as well.

Thanks for listening.

One last thing. We don’t hate 5 star reviews on iTunes either. In fact, they help the podcast grow which means better content for you, so if you’re down for that sort of thing make sure to listen on iTunes and don’t be stingy with that 5 star rating.
